[Hiring] Business Development Representative @Ascento AG

Role Description

We are looking for a proactive and persistent Business Development Representative to build our pipeline in France, Belgium and Swiss-Romande. You will work closely with our Sales Lead for these markets, who opened them and takes deals from demo to signature. If you enjoy talking to people you don't know yet, want to open doors at some of the most critical sites in Europe and want to see robotics and AI deployed at scale, you should apply. The role is remote or based in our Zurich office, and it starts as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and prioritize target account lists across critical infrastructure in France, Belgium and Romandie: manufacturing, data centers, energy, logistics and pharma.
• Reach security, facility and operations leaders through calls, email, LinkedIn and events.
• Run intro calls, qualify opportunities and hand them over for demos.
• Prepare first commercial proposals.
• Join demos and, over time, run your own.
• Represent Ascento at security trade shows and industry events in your markets.
• Keep your pipeline up to date in the CRM, and share what you hear in the field with our product and commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Native French and fluent English. German or any other language is a plus.
• First experience in sales, business development, consulting or a startup.
• Comfortable picking up the phone. A “no” doesn't slow you down.
• Structured and self-organized: you manage your own pipeline and follow up without reminders.
• Empathy and strong communication skills, with the ability to understand what a client really needs.
• Passionate about robotics and technology. A technical background is a plus.
• Willing to travel regularly across France, Belgium and Swiss-Romande for events and customer meetings, and occasionally to Zurich.
