[Hiring] Business Development Manager (SEO Sales) @VA Central Ltd

Role Description

This role is for a Business Development Manager and will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities to support company growth. This role requires a proactive, commercially driven individual with agency experience and a strong understanding of digital marketing services, particularly SEO and PPC. The successful candidate will build lasting client relationships, manage the full sales cycle, and collaborate closely with internal delivery teams.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, outbound prospecting, partnerships, and inbound leads
• Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
• Develop tailored proposals and pitch presentations aligned with client objectives
• Work collaboratively with SEO, and wider digital marketing teams to ensure accurate scoping and solution design
• Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitor activity, and digital marketing best practices
• Meet and exceed revenue targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Accurately manage CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline reporting
• Represent the agency at industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, or similar role
• Previous agency experience, preferably within a digital marketing, media, or creative agency
• Working knowledge of SEO and PPC, including how these services drive business results
• Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
• Ability to confidently present and pitch to senior decision-makers
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
• Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking
• Experience managing long-term client relationships and repeat business

Requirements

• Experience selling digital marketing services
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar
• Experience responding to RFPs and tenders
• Understanding of performance-based marketing metrics (ROAS, CPA, CAC, conversion rates)
