Role Description

The Business Development Manager (BDM) for Rectorseal HVAC Electrical products is responsible for driving new business growth across wholesale distribution, contractor networks, and strategic accounts. This role focuses on expanding RectorSeal’s market presence in HVAC electrical components with a strong emphasis on:

• Prospecting
• Pipeline creation
• New account onboarding
• Long-term revenue expansion

The ideal candidate is a hunter-minded, results-driven sales professional who thrives in a high autonomy role, builds strong customer relationships, and converts opportunities into sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC, building products, or industrial distribution sales; experience in condensate pumps or related solutions is a strong plus.
• Proven track record of new business acquisition and territory development.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to both installers and executives.
• Strong analytical, planning, and presentation skills.
• Comfortable with significant field travel (~40–60%).
• Self-starter with high initiative, strong follow-through, and a passion for winning new customers.
• Must reside full-time in the continental US.

Compensation

RectorSeal has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position. Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the CSWI Board of Directors.
