[Hiring] Business Development Manager @Honeywell

Role Description

As a Business Development Manager - Defence (ANZ) within Honeywell's Building Automation (BA) business, you will help drive growth and expand our presence in the Defence sector across Australia and New Zealand.

• Identify new business opportunities and build strong customer relationships.
• Develop strategies to grow Honeywell's full range of Building Automation solutions.
• Work closely with the Strategic Sales team and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Deliver customer-focused solutions that meet evolving market needs.
• Support Honeywell's growth and strengthen our position as a trusted partner in the Defence industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
• 7+ years' experience in business development, strategic sales, or account management within the Defence, technology, building services, automation, infrastructure, or related industries.
• Demonstrated network of relationships across the Australian Defence sector.
• Proven experience developing and executing growth strategies.
• Experience working across a range of go-to-market models.

• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking skills.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and industry stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Willingness to travel across Australia and New Zealand as required (up to 50%).
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance.
