Role Description

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across projects, releases, and business processes.
• Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, project managers, developers, and QA teams to define UAT scope, objectives, timelines, and entry/exit criteria.
• Translate business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria into comprehensive UAT scenarios, test cases, and data requirements.
• Identify and coordinate appropriate business testers, clarify roles and responsibilities, and provide UAT guidance, training, and support.
• Develop and maintain UAT plans, schedules, test scripts, traceability matrices, status reports, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate test environments, system access, integrations, test data, and other readiness dependencies before testing begins.
• Facilitate UAT execution, monitor progress, remove blockers, and ensure testing remains aligned with business priorities and release milestones.
• Review, validate, and triage defects; ensure issues are documented with sufficient detail, prioritized appropriately, assigned to owners, and retested through resolution.
• Track test results, requirements coverage, defect trends, risks, and outstanding issues; communicate status and recommendations to project and business leadership.
• Evaluate UAT outcomes and provide a clear go/no-go recommendation for production release based on agreed acceptance criteria and residual risk.
• Ensure business and compliance requirements are adequately tested and that required approvals, signoffs, and audit evidence are completed.
• Drive continuous improvement of UAT processes, templates, tools, metrics, and testing practices.
• Mentor UAT testers and promote consistent, risk-based, and customer-focused quality practices across delivery teams.
• Support post-release validation, production readiness activities, and lessons-learned reviews as needed.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information, business, mathematics or related field desired.
• Graduate studies are preferred.
• Eight plus years of dynamic experience in planning, designing and implementing company-wide business transformation initiatives.
• Extensive experience in functional, process, information and data modeling, data management and warehousing and applications integration.
• In-depth experience with process redesign methods and tools.
• Three years of experience in project management is preferred.

• Detailed knowledge of the system development life cycle.
• Knowledge of project management concepts and techniques are required.
• Thorough knowledge of facilitation, performance management, organizational design and managing organization change.
• Ability to lead large or sophisticated projects.
• Effective communication skills and ability to deal with ambiguity.
