[Hiring] Senior AI Trainer @the Project

Role Description

We are seeking Senior AI Trainers to support a customer-driven project focused on improving AI system accuracy through expert-level video annotation and data labeling. In this role, you will apply your expertise to review and annotate video footage of robotic arms executing assigned tasks. Your work will help generate high-quality, structured training data that supports the development and improvement of next-generation AI systems.

You will be responsible for:

• Reviewing video footage of robotic arms executing assigned tasks and accurately identifying key actions, transitions, and outcomes.
• Applying detailed grading and annotation guidelines to tag relevant events and provide structured observations.
• Identifying and documenting actions and outcomes with a high degree of precision and consistency.
• Marking precise start and end timestamps for key actions, transitions, and outcomes.
• Performing frame-accurate segmentation of video sessions where required.
• Verifying timestamp accuracy and ensuring annotations are properly aligned with the underlying video footage.
• Identifying and correcting timestamp drift, inconsistencies, or discrepancies between labeled events and source footage.
• Using video annotation tools and platforms to document findings and produce annotated datasets.
• Completing and submitting annotation work in accordance with project standards, requirements, and milestones.
• Collaborating with project trainers and other contributors to resolve ambiguous cases and improve annotation consistency.
• Providing input when annotation guidelines require clarification or refinement.
• Participating in ongoing quality reviews and incorporating feedback to maintain rigorous annotation standards.
• Communicating progress, challenges, and potential annotation issues clearly and in a timely manner.
• Working independently while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and productivity throughout the project.

Requirements

• Proven experience with video annotation, data labeling, or similar data-centric annotation projects.
• Familiarity with video annotation tools and software platforms.
• Experience working with timeline-based annotation interfaces for timestamping and event segmentation.
• Experience with frame-level or timecode-based annotation.
• Familiarity with marking event boundaries and working with video frame rates.
• Experience reviewing footage frame by frame.
• Background in AI training or machine learning data preparation.
• Experience working on robotics-related projects.
• Familiarity with robotic systems, robotic arms, or visual data involving automated systems is strongly preferred.

Benefits

• Compensation: $50–$90/hour
• Annualized equivalent: $104,000–$187,200/year based on 2,080 hours annually
