Role Description

This remote assistant role manages the online queue for minor website updates. You will:

• Check that instructions are clear.
• Record the page and requested change.
• Make permitted edits in an established system or route them to the website owner.
• Verify the published result against the approved request.

You are not expected to design a website, write marketing strategy, or make unsupported claims. The role is practical office administration applied to digital content and requires customer service skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Reading assigned website change requests and identifying the page or content block.
• Asking specific questions when wording, URL, or approval is missing.
• Entering routine approved updates where your access permits.
• Sending design or technical requests to the correct owner.
• Checking live pages for visible text, links, and basic formatting after an update.
• Maintaining an online tracker of pending, completed, and blocked items.
• Informing the requester what changed and what still needs review.

A suitable home office supports careful handling of assigned online updates. A careful beginner can learn this job. Experience with a content management system is welcome, but the employer will teach its editing permissions, page structure, and review process.

Qualifications

• Experience with a content management system is welcome.

• Ability to navigate browser tabs, copy an exact URL, and compare text with approved instructions.
