Vice President, Retail Operations

At our Company, we grow People, Brands, and Businesses! We are seeking a highly dynamic Vice President, Retail Operations to lead the development, coordination, management, oversight, and evaluation of the organization’s retail services business.

As a member of the leadership team, the Vice President participates in:

• Strategic planning
• Performance management
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Operational excellence initiatives
• Organizational development

This role is responsible for overseeing Operations, Sales, and Finance functions within the business unit while ensuring exceptional client service and retailer partnerships.

The Vice President will establish and maintain strong relationships with retailers and clients, focusing on delivering measurable business results and outstanding program execution. Success in this role is achieved through effective leadership, strategic execution, and achievement of key business performance objectives.

Qualifications

• Education:
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Preferred: MBA, Master's Degree, or equivalent professional experience
• Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in sales, consumer packaged goods (CPG), food brokerage, merchandising, retail operations, or a related industry.
  • 8+ years of successful experience managing:
    • Profit and Loss (P&L)
    • Budgeting and forecasting
    • Client relationships and expectations
    • Cross-functional business teams
• Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic business growth plans.
  • Strong strategic thinking, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people development capabilities.
  • Ability to direct, coach, mentor, and influence teams.
  • Strong analytical, research, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Experience supervising teams, including delegation, training, coaching, and performance evaluation.

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with retailers, suppliers, clients, and business partners.

  • Strong understanding of the merchandising, retail, and consumer packaged goods industries.

Requirements

• Travel and driving are essential functions of this position.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
