Role Description

Restb.ai is seeking a VP of Industry Relations to be our senior voice in the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) and enterprise brokerage community. Reporting to the President of the MLS Division, you will be the executive face of Restb.ai to MLS leadership and large brokerages — building trust, moving strategic deals across the finish line, and representing the company on the industry’s most visible stages.

You bring deep MLS domain knowledge, a genuine network of C-suite relationships, and the credibility to sit as a peer with MLS CEOs, boards, and brokerage leaders. Equally important, you can tell the story of where the industry - and Restb.ai - is heading, including the next generation of AI-native capabilities now under development. You are as comfortable closing an enterprise agreement as you are keynoting a panel or briefing a board on what agentic AI means for their business.

What You Will Work On

• Executive Relationships & Strategic Partnerships
  • Serve as an executive-level peer to Tier 1 MLS CEOs, boards of directors, and large brokerage leadership.
  • Move critical, high-stakes MLS and enterprise brokerage deals across the finish line by translating technical value into clear business outcomes.
  • Act as the executive escalation point for strategic accounts, proactively protecting and expanding the company’s most important relationships.
• Industry Representation & Thought Leadership
  • Represent Restb.ai in an official capacity at the industry’s major forums (e.g., CMLS, NAR, RESO, Inman).
  • Secure and deliver high-impact keynotes, panels, and thought-leadership sessions that build the company’s credibility and brand.
  • Shape the industry conversation on AI, computer vision, and the future of the transaction lifecycle positioning Restb.ai as a trusted, forward-looking partner.
• Product & Vision Evangelism — Articulating the Roadmap
  • Serve as the industry-facing storyteller for Restb.ai’s product vision and roadmap, including emerging AI initiatives.
  • Explain, in plain business terms, how AI grounded in Restb.ai’s proprietary property and visual data can shift the market from static SaaS dashboards toward agentic, conversational workflows.
  • Carry the roadmap credibly to sophisticated audiences, and feed market signal and objections back into product and strategy.
  • Champion complementary initiatives across the combined Clear Capital and CubiCasa portfolio as parts of the same long-term data advantage.
• Data Access & Partnership Strategy
  • Leverage Restb.ai’s deep MLS footprint to build durable, direct data relationships and reduce dependence on intermediaries and grey-market friction.
  • Help architect a resilient data-access foundation that keeps the company’s intelligence products supplied as the reseller landscape evolves.
  • Partner closely with Clear Capital’s data-acquisition and legal teams to align relationship strategy with corporate data-compliance and licensing needs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of senior leadership in or around the MLS ecosystem, large brokerages/franchises, or top-tier proptech.
• An active, tier-one set of personal relationships with major MLS executives, real estate association leaders, and large independent broker executives.
• An intricate understanding of MLS data structures (RESO Web API, data-licensing agreements) and the operational realities of cooperative MLS rules and brokerage dynamics.
• Outstanding public presence with a proven track record of speaking to large, sophisticated audiences and closing enterprise-scale agreements.
• Genuine comfort with AI, computer vision, and spatial-data workflows — able to bridge high-level policy and advanced technology, and carry a product vision convincingly.
• Willingness and ability to travel significantly (approximately 40–50%) for face-to-face executive meetings and national conferences.

What You Can Expect

• Compensation: The base salary for this position ranges from $158,000 to $200,000 annually, depending on your location, experience, and qualifications. Additional compensation offerings include a company profit-sharing bonus program, communication stipends, and referral bonuses.
