Role Description

ABS Global, a Genus company, has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Services Sr. Specialist (East Region, US) to provide technical services to strategic accounts in alignment with the ABS global strategy (specific focus on the Strategic Account Segment).

The Technical Services Sr. Specialist is responsible for developing and executing technical service strategies that enhance the performance, profitability, and long-term success of ABS's strategic dairy customers. This role serves as a trusted advisor to key accounts by:

• Identifying opportunities for improvement
• Implementing technical solutions
• Providing on-farm training and coaching
• Monitoring results to ensure measurable impact

This role combines technical expertise with customer engagement, supporting strategic accounts through:

• Data-driven recommendations
• Performance evaluations
• Product validation activities

• Fluency in both English and Spanish

This position is ideally based remotely in the East region of the United States, with travel approximately 50% within North America; travel may increase depending on business needs.

The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $120,000 USD. The salary provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Qualifications

• Degree in Veterinary, Dairy, Animal Science or Agriculture related discipline
• 3-5 years of applied technical experience in dairy management areas
• Applied experience in training/coaching personnel
• Applied experience in customer data analysis
• Bilingual - Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish
• Ability to prepare reports and technical communications
• Analytical capacity and knowledge of dairy management software
• Knowledge of basic software (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
• Excellent interpersonal relationships

Requirements

• Planning and execution of the Technical Service (TS) program in the strategic segment
• Identification of technical opportunities that optimize profitability
• Implementation of technical solutions and training of farm employees
• Monitoring of progress and impact of technical solutions
• Preparation and presentation of visit reports and performance summaries
• Maintenance of the Strategic Account list for financial validation
• Participation in the Global SAM TAG team
• Addressing technical questions from customers and personnel
• Creation of technical communications for publication
• Attendance at producer and/or professional meetings
