[Hiring] Technical Assistant @Buckman

Role Description

The Technical Assistant plays a pivotal role supporting Buckman’s strategic execution. He/She supports the current business and works with the sales team to develop new ones. Responsibilities include:

• Follow up on the process and quality results in paper machines to maintain and develop our dry strengths applications.
• Develop the maintenance plan for the equipment involved in Buckman’s applications at our customer’s sites.
• Provide basic maintenance for our dosage equipment.
• Responsible for weekly reports that include all statistics, graphics, trends, conclusions, and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Chemist, Chemical Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Production Technician, or related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in chemicals for the paper industry.
• Self-management.
• Self-long-life learning.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Teamwork and attitude of service.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Fluent in English writing and oral communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in chemical area.
• Experience as Technical Support / Technical Service in the paper industry chemicals.
• Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organization skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Chemical markets knowledge.
