Role Description

In this role, you’ll work with our Architecture team to help shape technology solutions that improve the digital experience for CSC members and employers. You’ll work closely with:

• Senior Architects
• Solution Architects
• Delivery Managers
• Product Owners
• Delivery teams

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting Architects in analysing business initiatives and translating requirements into documented solution options and recommendations.
• Developing and maintaining solution artefacts including:
  • Solution design documents
  • Architecture decision records
  • Process & Data flows
  • Non-functional requirements
  • Solution assessments
• Documenting current-state and future-state architectures.
• Analysing impacts across applications, integrations, data, security, and operational processes.
• Assisting with defining solution scope, assumptions, dependencies, risks, and constraints.
• Participating in discovery activities, workshops, and stakeholder consultations.
• Eliciting, analysing, documenting, and validating business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Supporting architecture governance activities including Design Authority and architecture review processes.
• Ensuring solution documentation aligns with CSC architecture standards, principles, and patterns.
• Assisting with documenting API, integration, authentication, and data exchange requirements.
• Supporting integration analysis and mapping between enterprise systems.
• Collaborating with technical teams to ensure solution designs are technically feasible and aligned to enterprise standards.

Specific duties, deliverables and reporting lines may vary from time-to-time dependent on business needs and priorities. Key objectives and measurements will be captured in the Performance & Development planning cycle, established annually and adapted as needed.

Qualifications

• Formal IT development qualifications, with higher-level qualifications preferred.
• Relevant professional and technical certifications, including ACS and Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, are advantageous.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Technical Analyst or Senior Developer delivering solutions across complex enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated experience producing high-quality technical documentation, including authentication, data flows, and functional and non-functional requirements.
• Experience in financial services or federal government would be advantageous.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce platforms, including CRM, Web Self Service, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Mobile Publisher, Data 360 and/or Tableau, or a strong willingness to learn.
• Experience with integrations and APIs, ideally using MuleSoft or similar platforms, would be advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively across complex enterprise environments.
• Ability to apply solution design patterns to meet organisational requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
