Role Description
As a Sustainability Environment Expert, you will drive sustainability impact by integrating it into our business plans and measuring outcomes. You will lead the industry through our sustainability agenda, ensuring compliance and traceability.
- Execute and ensure sustainability impact and outcomes at the facility level for various environmental thematic areas, implementing strategies and finding opportunities for improvement.
- Guide facilities for impactful actions by identifying appropriate training programs to enhance sustainability performance and build further capacity.
- Understand the road map and follow up on its progress at the facility level, tracking advancements and addressing any challenges to ensure sustainability initiatives remain on course and effective.
- Achieve strong execution and ownership by fully implementing sustainability initiatives at the facility level, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Leverage curiosity to explore new sustainability trends and technologies, continuously seeking innovative solutions to enhance practices.
- Use technical expertise and effective collaboration with key stakeholders to strengthen improvement possibilities by regularly assessing current processes and focusing on continuous enhancement.
- Utilize project management skills to effectively plan, execute, and monitor sustainability projects, coordinating with stakeholders and managing timelines to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of environment sustainability topics, including energy, water, chemicals, and processes.
- Project management skills (design, develop, implement & monitor).
- Background from the textile industry preferred.
