Role Description

The Center for Learning, Innovation, and Collaboration (CLIC) at the University of Wisconsin-Superior is seeking a student assistant to support the planning and coordination of faculty development activities. These activities include:

• Canvas training sessions
• Workshops
• Conferences
• Book groups
• Other professional development events

Responsibilities include:

• Reserving event spaces through 25Live
• Creating and sending calendar invitations through Outlook
• Tracking RSVPs and communicating with participants
• Coordinating event logistics and preparing materials
• Updating news and announcements on SharePoint
• Sending email communications and reminders to participants
• Assisting with the overall planning and coordination of events
• Processing and tracking Period Activity Pay (PAP) payments

Qualifications

• Organized and detail-oriented
• Able to communicate clearly and meet deadlines
• Strong time-management skills
• Ability to work independently

Requirements

• Employment will require a criminal background check
• A pending criminal charge or conviction will not necessarily disqualify an applicant
• Compliance with the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act
