[Hiring] Sponsorship Coordinator @Python Software Foundation

1mth ago - Python Software Foundation is hiring a remote Sponsorship Coordinator. 💸 Salary: $70k–$85k annually 📍Location: USA

Role Description

The Python Software Foundation (PSF) currently has an opening for a full-time, fully remote (US-based) role focused on the systems and processes that allow our sponsorship program to succeed and keeping them humming. The role involves managing regular professional communication with our sponsors, prospects, and other relationships.

Charitable corporate sponsorships are the core source of the PSF’s revenue, and ensuring smooth tracking, prospecting, and relationship management for sponsorships is crucial to the organization as a whole. In this role, you will work closely with the Deputy Executive Director, who has been executing this work to date. You will also collaborate closely with the Programs Director and Community Events Coordinator who together run PyCon US, as much of the PSF’s sponsorship work relates to PyCon US.

This role is a great opportunity for someone self-directed and process- and detail-oriented who thrives on being organized and enjoys managing and designing systems. You should also be comfortable with frequent professional email communication with sponsors and other stakeholders.

You will join a small-but-mighty, talented and friendly team in a mission-oriented environment, with ample opportunities to learn, take ownership, and follow your own initiative in a supportive environment. This is a great opportunity to build on or develop nonprofit fundraising and operational experience and to work in the vibrant open source technology sector.
