[Hiring] Solution Engineer @Contentful

Role Description

• Make an impact on sales revenue by co-piloting sales opportunities along with your Account Executives.
• Seek to understand customer’s short-term and long-term digital objectives, their current and future technology stack, and current challenges.
• Validate and illustrate how Contentful can help the customer with their digital transformation efforts through customized value-based product demonstrations and proofs of concept.
• Assist with the completion of RFIs, RFPs, and Security questionnaires and liaise with other departments to drive finalization.
• Relay product feedback to Product Management, Marketing, and Sales in the customers' words.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Customer Success Managers to ensure that newly-signed customers successfully implement and launch their projects with Contentful.
• Understand prospects’ project requirements, help validate these requirements against our platform, and identify and mitigate technical and business risks.
• Travel onsite with customers when necessary.
• Work on exciting internal projects that impact how the Solution Engineering team works and grows.

Qualifications

• The desire to become a professional Solution Engineer.
• Strong presentation skills that demonstrate the ability to convey technical and business knowledge to varying personas, both technical and non-technical.
• Understanding of REST APIs and a micro-service architecture.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Solution Engineering experience selling SaaS or related industry experience working with Marketing & Marketing-adjacent teams.
• Experience working with a Content Management Platform or similar technology.
• Familiarity with web technologies (Javascript frameworks, static site generators, CDNs, CI/CD, etc.), cloud technology, performance metrics, and security.
• Experience with omnichannel digital delivery concepts (websites, emails, native mobile apps, etc.).
