[Hiring] Senior Solutions Architect @New Relic

Role Description

Solutions Architects are the trusted advisors to New Relic’s current and prospective customers. As part of the Strategic Solutions Architect (SA) Organization, you will support the observability transformation initiatives of New Relic’s clients.

• Work collaboratively with New Relic customers across all segments, as well as with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and Marketing organizations.
• Collaborate on strategic engagements that require a high degree of strategic planning, consulting, hands-on technical expertise, and internal cross-departmental collaboration within New Relic.
• Help shape and execute a strategy to build awareness and drive broad usage of the New Relic platform with customers.
• Specialize in leading expansion and observability penetration opportunities by providing thought leadership for solution design, best practice implementation, and technical problem-solving.
• Enable the measurement and analysis of the success of New Relic's go-to-market strategy in both the penetration and expansion phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
• 4+ years of professional experience developing in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or Golang.
• Hands-on experience and functional understanding of OpenTelemetry standards and other OSS such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience in observability with New Relic, Splunk, AppDynamics, DataDog, Dynatrace, Grafana Labs, or other observability platforms.
• Understanding of Service Level measurement approaches (SLI/SLO).
• Experience with DevOps, SRE, and Platform Engineering service delivery disciplines.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies - Kubernetes, Docker, serverless.
• Presentation and communication skills at both technical and executive levels.
• Ability to analyze and interpret business requirements and customer interactions to anticipate and guide their needs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the customer organization, from executive to developer/practitioner level.
