[Hiring] Senior Property Manager @Somewhere

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager with a strong background in remote residential property management to oversee day-to-day operations across our portfolio. In this role, you will lead property maintenance workflows, operational administration, and tenant customer service during standard Los Angeles business hours.

Your primary focus will be on:

• End-to-end maintenance coordination
• Vendor oversight
• Financial administration within AppFolio
• Maintaining strong resident retention through exceptional communication and extreme attention to detail

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing residential properties in a remote capacity
• Hands-on, proven experience using AppFolio Property Manager is strictly required
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills paired with native/fluent Spanish
• Absolute willingness and availability to work full-time during Los Angeles / Pacific Standard Time (PST) business hours
• Exceptional organizational skills, thorough documentation habits, and high operational precision
• Based in Mexico (preferred) or Colombia with a reliable high-speed internet connection and dedicated home office setup

Requirements

• Manage work orders end-to-end within AppFolio, ensuring timely dispatch, tracking, and resolution
• Source, vet, schedule, and oversee local vendors, contractors, and maintenance staff
• Review maintenance quotes, approve repair invoices, and ensure work is completed to standard and within budget
• Oversee preventative maintenance schedules, move-in/move-out property inspections, and turn processes with meticulous attention to detail
• Serve as the primary point of contact for resident inquiries, maintenance requests, and escalated operational issues
• Maintain high resident satisfaction and retention through prompt, empathetic, and professional communication in English and Spanish
• Handle dispute resolution, tenancy enforcement, and lease compliance issues professionally
• Maintain accurate property, tenant, and vendor records within AppFolio
• Assist with utility transfers, delinquency tracking, invoice coding, and monthly owner reporting inputs
• Coordinate unit turnovers (turn-key process), including security deposit dispositions and vendor scheduling
