[Hiring] Senior Implementation Consultant @BillingPlatform

Role Description

BillingPlatform is seeking a Senior Implementation Consultant to guide our customers through their implementation lifecycle. The role focuses on:

• Leading customer engagements
• Advising on best practices
• Driving business requirement discussions
• Negotiating sign-off
• Identifying gaps between customer needs and platform capabilities
• Configuring the product
• Supporting or advising on data migration
• Delivering demos
• Documenting testing results
• Delivering scalable, compliant, trusted solutions

Daily activities will include:

• Leading customer-facing sessions
• Understanding business requirements and desired business outcomes
• Driving best practices
• Building solutions based on system design
• Working closely with internal team members
• Communicating status and risks to both internal teams and customers

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Business Systems, IT, or Consulting, ideally within the Quote-to-Cash and Billing ecosystem (e.g. Zuora, Maxio, Stripe Billing, NetSuite, Dynamics CRM, Salesforce, Apttus)
• Strong functional expertise in billing, invoicing, monetisation, and revenue recognition processes
• Hands-on experience implementing SaaS solutions with a strong business analysis and configuration component
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Working knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, and integration patterns (e.g. ERP, CRM, tax, payment gateways), with familiarity with reporting tools and cloud integration methods
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and independent, with a proven ability to quickly learn new processes and technologies
• Ability to travel up to 25% to support customer engagements
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive decisions
