Role Description

• Experience developing on cloud platforms and utilizing cloud services in development and in solutions.
• Experience in defining technical architecture, building technical environments, supporting software development processes and initiatives, software configuration and database management.
• Experience in gathering requirements from a diverse group of stakeholders across ministries or departments.
• Experience in multiple architecture domains e.g. business, application, technology, data/information, security, and privacy.
• Experience with process improvement, documentation and requirement gathering.
• Experience with triaging technical issues/problems and troubleshooting.
• Experience with written and verbal communications including specific experience in drafting strategic business and technical documentation.
• Experience collecting requirements, analyzing, designing or implementing Azure Virtual Desktop, and M365 products and services, either on-premises or in a cloud infrastructure-as-a-service environment.
• Experience in designing, building, testing, deploying, and supporting applications in an enterprise IT environment equivalent in size and complexity to the Government of Alberta.
• Experience in designing architecture to support remote work and/or field-based workers.
• Experience in developing new IT services including the development of service definitions, service measurements, cost models, processes, implementation and operational hand over.
• Experience in IT infrastructure architecture and the relationships among the components that make up an IT service from end-user devices to servers, networks, storage, applications and data.
• Experience in the design, development and implementation of complex IT solutions.
• Experience with IT service management, IT service management applications, IT application development and maintenance projects.
• Experience with User Acceptance Testing processes on large, complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
• Experience working within an agile development environment.
• Perform IT and/or business-related analysis, diagnosis, problem-solving, use case or scenario development, communication, presentations, planning, estimating, and documentation.
