[Hiring] Senior Endpoint Vulnerability Remediation Engineer @The Missing Link

Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Endpoint Vulnerability Remediation Engineer for a 3–4 month contract. This is a hands-on remediation role. You’ll take identified vulnerabilities, determine the best remediation approach and engineer scalable fixes across an enterprise endpoint environment, rather than simply analysing and reporting vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive endpoint vulnerability remediation using Microsoft Intune and Defender Vulnerability Management
• Engineer and deploy patches and application updates at scale
• Develop PowerShell automation for remediation, detection and validation
• Troubleshoot deployment blockers and failed updates
• Prioritise Critical and High vulnerabilities
• Rationalise outdated, unsupported and unsanctioned applications
• Validate that remediation has been successfully completed

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender Vulnerability Management
• Strong hands-on experience with enterprise application packaging and deployment
• Strong hands-on experience with PowerShell and endpoint automation
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows endpoint troubleshooting
• Strong hands-on experience with vulnerability and patch remediation at scale

Requirements

• 3–4 month contract
• Remote within Australia
• Sydney preferred
• Enterprise-scale security remediation engagement
• Start ASAP, subject to client confirmation
