Role Description
The Senior EDI Analyst is responsible for internal EDI processes and EDI implementation for the firm. This position supports project-based initiatives that impact our file integrations with clients, data providers, and other partners.
- Maintain general employee benefit knowledge as well as Flores system knowledge regarding various benefit models.
- Understand tasks and processes related to EDI file set-up and maintenance.
- Communicate technical requirements and objectives clearly internally and externally.
- Interact with Account Managers, Clients, Brokers, and file feed Vendors to facilitate implementation of EDI file feeds.
- Collaborate with internal staff to develop and test new or modified systems, tools, and data flows.
- Develop and implement solutions that improve data accuracy, system efficiency, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues between internal systems and external partners.
- Perform file testing and file layout building for multiple plan and file types for all external clients.
- Manage and perform other internal duties relating to client files.
- Serve as the resource for problem identification and resolution of file feed related issues.
- Support firm growth and improvement by participating in development projects relating to EDI processes.
- Create, manage, and improve the training platform at the firm on an ongoing basis.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain quality work that exemplifies and promotes Flores’ core values.
Qualifications
- A graduate of a Bachelor’s degree program from a four-year college or university (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience working as an EDI, Interface, or Integration Analyst.
- Proficient with EDI tools, platforms, and data orchestration tools.
- Working knowledge of database structures and business transactions.
- Detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and prioritizing skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on superior customer service.
- Internally motivated individual looking to grow personally and professionally.
- Above average analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experienced with Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to process and manipulate data in a variety of formats while ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
- Able to perform this job successfully and grow into managing significant client relationships.
- Understanding of the value of providing a high level of customer service.
Requirements
- Must reside in one of the following states: AZ, CT, FL, GA, IL, KS, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV.
- This role operates in a professional remote office environment.
- Common programs often used are Outlook, Word, and Excel.
