Role Description

Transco Rail Services, a Marmon Holdings company backed by Berkshire Hathaway, is seeking a transformational Senior Director, Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) to lead enterprise-wide EHS strategy across a growing network of rail service operations throughout North America. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Operations, this executive leader will be responsible for:

• Advancing environmental stewardship
• Regulatory excellence
• Operational safety
• Risk management
• Organizational capability across multiple facilities and field operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Engineering, Environmental Health, or a related field
• 10+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience
• Significant experience supporting multi-site industrial, manufacturing, transportation, rail, energy, or field service operations
• Demonstrated success improving EHS performance while reducing organizational risk
• Experience leading teams, developing leaders, and driving organizational change

Requirements

• Deep expertise in environmental compliance, including air permitting
• A successful track record leading EHS functions across complex, multi-site operations
• Experience influencing senior leadership and driving enterprise-wide change
• Strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, industrial hygiene, and risk management practices
• Exceptional communication, executive presence, and leadership capabilities
• The ability to translate compliance requirements into practical business solutions
