[Hiring] Senior Client Accounting Manager @Remote Professionals

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced and client-focused Senior Client Accounting Manager to manage a portfolio of UK accounting clients and coordinate the delivery of high-quality accounting and bookkeeping services.

You will be the main point of contact for your assigned clients. You will ensure that deadlines are met, queries are resolved promptly and services are delivered accurately and efficiently.

The role also involves:

• Reviewing financial work
• Coordinating team workloads
• Supporting client onboarding
• Identifying opportunities to improve service delivery

Qualifications

• A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field
• At least 3–5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, client services or account management within an accounting practice
• Experience managing multiple client portfolios and deadlines
• Experience coordinating accountants, bookkeepers or outsourced finance teams
• Experience reviewing bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, management accounts or year-end accounts
• Good knowledge of bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, management accounts and annual financial statements
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or CaseWare
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams
• Strong client relationship and communication skills
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills
• High attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving ability
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Confidence coordinating remote teams
• A professional, proactive and service-focused approach

Requirements

• A professional accounting qualification such as SAICA, SAIPA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent (desirable)
• Experience working with UK accounting firms or UK clients (desirable)
• Experience using Salesforce or another CRM system (desirable)
