We are seeking a Senior Atlassian Platform Administrator to manage and optimize our Jira Cloud environment while supporting our software, system, and test engineering teams. You will play a key role in improving workflows, permissions, and automation, as well as controlling changes using scripting and API integrations. • Manage and configure Jira Cloud environments to meet organizational needs
• Review and improve existing workflows, permission schemes, and automation rules
• Set up and maintain Jira projects, schemes, workflows, permissions, and notifications
• Document existing and newly created processes in Jira
• Monitor and troubleshoot Jira Cloud issues to ensure timely resolutions
• Create new users, assign permissions, and manage projects
• Control changes in permission schemes, screens, and workflows using automation and scripting
• Develop and implement automation for project and workflow creation or modification
• Support and enhance Python scripts using Atlassian Python APIs
• Coordinate with engineering teams to fulfill project requirements
• Ensure optimal performance and reliability of Jira Cloud environments

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Atlassian Cloud administration
• Knowledge of Groovy scripting and Jira plugins
• Background in project management with Atlassian tools
• Proficiency in application support related to Jira Service Management
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• English language proficiency at the B2 Upper-Intermediate level

Requirements

• Certification in Atlassian administration (nice to have)
• Experience with Atlassian Python APIs (nice to have)
• Familiarity with other Atlassian products such as Confluence (nice to have)
• Understanding of ITIL processes (nice to have)
• Background in software or system engineering (nice to have)
