[Hiring] RCM Projects Coordinator @Care Hospice

Role Description

Are you a detail-oriented problem solver who enjoys improving processes, reconciling information, and coordinating financial operations? As an RCM Projects Coordinator, you will support Revenue Cycle Management initiatives with a primary focus on hospice room and board invoice processing, billing validation, and payment coordination.

In this role, you will work closely with:

• Healthcare facilities
• Medicaid Billing
• Accounting
• Operations
• Information Technology

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring invoices and supporting documentation are accurate
• Resolving discrepancies
• Tracking billing and payment activities through completion
• Identifying process gaps
• Maintaining reporting tools
• Implementing workflow improvements

This is a hands-on coordination role that combines detailed invoice and billing review, cross-functional collaboration, issue resolution, and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years of experience in healthcare billing, accounts payable, revenue cycle, or related administrative work.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to review, validate, and reconcile information across multiple sources.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other standard office applications.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external facility contacts.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, investigate discrepancies, and follow issues through resolution.
• Experience with hospice, Medicaid billing, skilled nursing facilities, or room and board reimbursement preferred.
• Familiarity with facility contracts, invoice reconciliation, and vendor payment processes preferred.
• Experience with MatrixCare, Smartsheet, NetSuite, or similar systems preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel skills highly valued).

Requirements

• Hospice RCM Experience is required.
