Role Description

Join the NM EDGE Program at New Mexico State University Cooperative Extension Service as a Program Coordinator II and play a key role in supporting professional development opportunities for public sector employees across New Mexico. This position, based in Albuquerque, NM, is ideal for a highly organized, customer-focused individual with strong technical skills and a passion for supporting educational programs.

The Program Coordinator II provides administrative and technical support for NM EDGE operations, including:

• Event and enrollment management
• Website maintenance
• Online testing administration
• Report generation
• Certificate processing
• Virtual class delivery support

The successful candidate will work closely with instructors, participants, elected and appointed officials, and program staff to ensure high-quality service and seamless program operations. This position also offers opportunities to contribute to process improvements and technology solutions that enhance program efficiency and support continued growth.

The ideal candidate is comfortable with:

• Troubleshooting technology issues
• Managing multiple priorities
• Working independently in a remote environment
• Communicating professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders

Experience with online learning platforms, database systems, reporting tools, and customer service is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma + 1 year of relevant experience, or higher degree.
