Role Description

We are seeking experienced Procurement & Vendor Management Experts to contribute to an AI training project by designing realistic, multi-step procurement tasks with objective grading criteria. The role involves transforming real-world procurement workflows into structured benchmark tasks that evaluate AI systems' analytical skills, reasoning, and decision-making. Prior AI experience is not required.

• Design multi-step tasks based on real procurement workflows, including supplier assessment, bid comparison, vendor risk analysis, and contract review.
• Develop clear instructions and objective grading criteria to ensure consistent evaluation.
• Create tasks that require sound judgment, analytical thinking, and accurate interpretation of procurement documents.
• Prepare supporting materials, including RFP responses, pricing schedules, contracts, service-level agreements (SLAs), and risk assessments.
• Identify ambiguous or ungradable tasks and refine them before submission.
• Deliver high-quality, approved tasks within project deadlines.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier assessment, or vendor management.
• Experience developing or applying structured evaluation standards, including supplier scorecards, weighted bid criteria, vendor risk frameworks, or category strategies.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work across contracts, spreadsheets, and reports.
• CIPS, CPSM, or an equivalent professional certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Strong written and spoken English proficiency (B2 minimum; C1 preferred).
• Experience with AI or LLM evaluation is a plus but not required.

Requirements

• Engagement: Project-based, with payment per approved task.
• Compensation: Up to $90/hour equivalent.
• Estimated Time: Approximately 10 hours per task.
• Work Mode: Fully remote, with no geographic restrictions.
• Language Requirement: B2-level English minimum; C1 preferred.
