[Hiring] Principal Solutions Engineer @American IT Systems

Role Description

You will serve as a senior technical leader and advisor, guiding architecture decisions, identifying risks, and ensuring alignment across upstream and downstream systems. You will also partner closely with internal teams, contingent staff, and an implementation partner to successfully deliver the migration from PeopleSoft to Oracle Fusion ERP.

This is a high-impact opportunity to help drive a mission-critical transformation at BECU. You will play a key role in modernizing core financial systems. This role is essential to the program's success and requires someone who can bring structure, leadership, and foresight to a complex enterprise ERP migration. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience leading similar transformations and can anticipate challenges across systems, integrations, and data flows.

• Bring structure and clarity to project execution, including:
  • Work breakdown and sequencing
  • Risk identification and mitigation strategies
  • Governance and decision frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, infrastructure, business stakeholders, and vendors
• Mentor and guide engineers and analysts, elevating team capability and delivery maturity
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and best practices

Qualifications

• Must have experience LEADING Solution design and technical strategy for the PeopleSoft → Oracle Fusion ERP migration
• Must have a deep understanding of Enterprise System Integrations, Data Flows and Dependencies
• Must have strong experience with Data Migration Planning and Execution in large-scale Environments
• Must have excellent hands-on leadership in planning and executing ERP transformation initiatives
• Must have excellent communication skills

Requirements

• Define and guide data migration strategies, ensuring integrity, completeness, and reconciliation
• Assess, redesign, and oversee integration patterns and data flows across enterprise systems
• Analyze and document upstream and downstream system impacts, including integrations and dependencies
• Identify upstream/downstream impacts of system changes
• Identify potential pitfalls early and recommend practical solutions based on prior experience

• Working in a Microsoft/Azure environment - Azure Data Factory (ADF) or modern cloud-based data integration tools

• In Finance or Regulated Industries
