Role Description
At Well Me Right, we're on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Nutritionist to join our team of remote health professionals committed to transforming lives through better nutrition. As a Nutritionist, you will work closely with our members to develop personalized nutrition plans that align with their health goals, preferences, and lifestyle choices. You'll play an essential role in educating members about healthy eating habits, nutritional needs, and the impact of food on overall wellness.
This position involves delivering virtual consultations via video conferencing, meaning you'll need to leverage your communication skills to build rapport and trust with clients in a virtual setting. By joining us, you’ll contribute to a supportive community focused on enhancing health and wellness access for every individual.
- Conduct thorough nutritional assessments and create individualized meal plans.
- Provide ongoing support and motivation to clients as they work towards their nutrition goals.
- Educate members on the principles of nutrition and the role of food in health and wellness.
- Stay updated on the latest research and trends in nutrition and wellness.
Qualifications
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients.
- Have a strong understanding of dietary needs and the ability to create tailored nutrition plans.
- Demonstrate empathy and the ability to motivate others in their journey towards healthier living.
- Be adaptable and open to feedback, willing to embrace new methods and technologies in client care.
- Exhibit a strong commitment to working with diverse populations and a culturally responsive approach.
Requirements
- Valid certification or degree in Nutrition or a related field.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a nutritional counseling role.
- Familiarity with various dietary approaches and an understanding of nutritional science.
- Experience delivering consultations through a digital platform (preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of motivational interviewing and behavior change techniques (preferred but not required).
