Role Description
This role involves providing telehealth psychotherapy to clients referred to the program for outpatient behavioral health services.
- Meet via telehealth with assigned clients in group, individual, joint, or family sessions
- Schedule appointments with clients according to program standards
- Complete clinical notes and other paperwork as required
- Maintain appropriate contact with referral sources and work cooperatively with other members of the client’s treatment team
- Respect the confidentiality of clients and follow all HIPAA guidelines
- Answer incoming phone calls from clients within 24 hours
- Check e-mail throughout the day and respond as appropriate
- Keep up to date with information dispersed via memos, notices, e-mails from all levels of management
- Other duties as assigned by the Medical or Site Director
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related discipline
- Licensed in the state of Maryland as a LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, or LCPC required
- Bilingual - English/Spanish required
- Previous experience doing psychotherapy desired
- Ability to manage, delegate and manage multiple tasks
- Must be sensitive to the cultural and socioeconomic differences present among the practice's service population
- Empathy and Compassion
- Excellent customer service, listening, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Responsible, reliable and punctual
- Must demonstrate understanding of managed care concepts and willingness to provide treatment and work within that system
Requirements
- Language: Spanish (required)
- Compensation: $55,000 - $120,000 annual
- Sign on and Service Award Bonus: $6,000
- Job Types: W2: Full-Time and Part-Time options
