Role Description

A family in Hilsborough is seeking a nanny/remote personal assistant. The role involves about 25 hours a week Monday through Friday of being a nanny to 2 boys ages 10-years-old and almost 8-years-old and about 5-7 hours a week of remote personal assistant work, and about 5-7 hours a week of running errands as PA. In total, the role will be 35-40 hours a week Monday through Friday 11am/12pm-7pm. The nanny role begins at 2pm daily with picking up the children from school. The PA duties begin at 11am or 12pm until picking up the children.

• Experienced, quick on their feet, and able to work autonomously.
• Implement structure to the children's schedules.
• Help oversee the youngest child with homework and tasks.
• Earn the children's respect and implement structure/schedule, especially when the Mother is traveling for work.
• Create fun activities for the children.
• Training to use AI for administration/calendaring tasks will be provided.

The role begins November 1, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Managing family calendars (children are involved in various activities, about 3 activities each at any given time).
• Logistical planning of getting children to/from the activities and school and coordinating pickups and drop-offs.
• Ordering of birthday gifts.
• Reading school emails and flagging important items (e.g., bake sale items).
• Errands involve Costco, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, etc.
• Dropping off and picking things up for repair.
• Logistics and admin/juggling (most tasks can be done remotely).
• No travel required for this role.
• Picking up children from school.
• Driving to/from activities.
• Helping mainly the youngest with reading/writing, guiding and motivating him.
• Creating fun activities for the children to do if time allows.

Qualifications

• Former schoolteacher would be a bonus.

Requirements

• Licensed driver with a clean driving record.
• Able to use technology comfortably.
