Role Description

Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. The position is for a Music Production Expert - Punjabi, which is a contract role with a compensation of $15/hour. The role is remote, lasting up to 6 months, with a commitment of 20+ hours/week.

• Evaluate AI-generated music for musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production/mix quality.
• Label songs by genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and other musical characteristics.
• Review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material for quality and accuracy.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while enhancing AI model performance.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
• Native or near-native proficiency in Punjabi, and the ability to follow detailed written instructions in English.
• 2+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer.
• Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.
• Preferred:
• Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition.
• Credited or commercially released production, engineering, or mixing work.
• Broad familiarity with contemporary Punjabi genres, sub-genres, and artists.
