[Hiring] Manager, Meetings & Events Sourcing @DoorDash USA

Role Description

DoorDash is looking for an experienced Manager, Meetings & Events Sourcing to help build and lead the sourcing strategy for our growing global Meetings & Events program across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo. This role sits within Global Travel & Expense and will focus on the travel, sourcing, supplier, policy, and commercial components of meetings and events.

As our global footprint and meeting activity continue to grow, we are looking for a candidate who can bring structure, strategic sourcing expertise, and strong supplier management to an increasingly significant area of travel spend. This role will partner closely with:

This position may work remotely within the US, with an East Coast location preferred to support collaboration across North America and EMEA.

You will report to the Head of Global Travel & Expense and serve as the global DRI for Meetings & Events sourcing. You will be responsible for:

• Building a scalable sourcing framework for company meetings, offsites, and events.
• Connecting our group meetings volume with our broader transient travel program.
• Identifying opportunities to combine hotel, air, and transportation volume to strengthen supplier negotiations.
• Measuring success through the strength of our sourcing strategy, supplier performance, financial outcomes, policy adoption, risk management, and visibility into global M&E spend.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Meetings & Events, strategic sourcing, corporate travel, or hospitality, with expertise in global meetings and group travel.
• Strong sourcing and negotiation skills, including hotel room blocks, venue contracts, attrition, cancellation terms, and supplier management.
• Proven ability to drive savings and cost avoidance through preferred supplier programs, spend analysis, and leveraging combined group and transient travel volume.
• Experience developing M&E policies, sourcing strategies, and scalable processes, with strong project management and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with experience managing global stakeholders and leveraging technology and AI to improve efficiency.
