Role Description

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the movement, tracking, and documentation of shipments and inventory, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods. This role communicates with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to resolve logistics issues and support supply chain operations.

• Coordinate the scheduling, tracking, and documentation of inbound and outbound shipments
• Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to resolve shipping or delivery issues
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics documentation
• Monitor shipment status and proactively address delays or discrepancies
• Support inventory reconciliation and reporting activities
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company logistics policies
• Assist with cost analysis and vendor performance tracking
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Meet or exceed performance targets for related KPIs
• Continuously improve knowledge of logistics processes, systems, and supply chain practices and best practices through training and learning initiatives
• Collaborate with other departments as needed
• Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and colleagues at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation coordination
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously
• Working knowledge of logistics or inventory management systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with vendors and carriers
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve shipping discrepancies
• Ability to work under time pressure to meet delivery deadlines
• Basic understanding of shipping regulations and documentation requirements
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and logistics tracking tools
• Experience working within an outsourced services environment, a plus
