Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated License Specialist to join our team. In this position, you are responsible for the tracking and processing of all license applications, including:

• Board of Pharmacy
• Department of Health
• Business
• Occupational
• City
• State
• Bedding
• DOT
• FDA

This position pays between $18.25/hr - $21.50/hr depending on related experience and state hired in.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follows up on outstanding issues consistently to ensure timely filing of licenses
• Maintain copies of all licenses in provider services files
• Maintains activity log
• Maintains database of licenses by facility with anticipated expiration dates
• Proactively complete all licensure applications accurately and timely
• Promptly inform manager of any issues or problems related to licensure status
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Employment is contingent on background check (company-wide)
• Drug screen (when applicable for the position)
• Compliance with healthcare facility credentialing process (when applicable for the position)
• Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position)
• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the position through relevant work experience, training, or education

Requirements

• Two year degree from an accredited college; or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
• Experience in medical field and administrative record management (preferred)
• One year of related work experience (preferred)
• Medical terminology (preferred)

• Requires close vision to small print on computer and/or tablet and paperwork
