[Hiring] Junior Events Specialist @Parallels Inc

Role Description

We’re looking for a Junior Events Specialist to help us change the way the world works. Here, you’ll support the end-to-end planning and execution of global in-person and virtual industry events.

• Manage vendor logistics, ordering and shipping assets, registration, and day of event support.
• Support the end-to-end planning and execution of global in-person and virtual industry events.
• Assist with negotiating contracts, communicating with suppliers, and monitoring vendor performance.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, product) to ensure event goals and deliverables are met.
• Process invoices, manage event portals, and maintain detailed project management of events.
• Support, or lead, on-site logistics, including setup, registration, and troubleshooting to ensure a seamless experience.

Qualifications

• Exceptional ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong project management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication for client and vendor liaison.
• Proactive approach and problem-solving mindset.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity using SalesForce, including reporting and tracking leads or event performance metrics.
