Role Description
This role involves helping people feel confident and supported with technology from day one. We’re looking for an IT Operations Coordinator to join our team and be a key part of our employee onboarding experience and IT projects. This is a people-centred, hands-on role where you’ll help create smooth tech experiences and contribute to meaningful improvements across the organization.
- Lead the IT onboarding experience for new employees — ensuring they have the right tools, access, and support to get started smoothly.
- Gather feedback from new hires and stakeholders to understand what’s working and where we can improve the onboarding journey.
- Collaborate with teams like HR, hiring managers, and office managers to make onboarding seamless and welcoming.
- Help new employees get started by showing them how to use their tech and making sure they feel comfortable and confident from day one.
- Contribute to IT documentation and process improvements, helping us get better over time.
- Coordinate small IT projects — like equipment rollouts or upgrades — with plenty of support from the broader team.
- Assist day-to-day IT tasks in the office and remotely, including troubleshooting, organizing equipment, and keeping things running smoothly.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in IT, onboarding, or IT-coordination roles.
- A people-first mindset — you’re approachable, empathetic, and enjoy making others workdays easier.
- You’re naturally organized and like keeping things running smoothly and efficiently.
- Interest in process improvement and clear communication.
