Role Description
This role involves creating architectural technologies and business roadmaps that result in strong business/IT alignment and drive adoption of technology across the enterprise.
- Develop automation architecture that integrates with existing systems and supports scalability, adhering to security standards.
- Responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive data backup strategy, including selecting appropriate backup technologies, defining retention policies, and structuring the storage infrastructure for efficient data protection and recovery.
- Manage and maintain the Linux operating system on servers used within the infrastructure.
- Provide technical leadership in Virtualization SME with a deep understanding of container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) and scripting (YAML, Bash, Python, etc.).
- Design efficient processes and automation for patch management across servers, databases, end-user devices, firewalls, etc.
- Identify potential technical challenges and devise innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- More than 12 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education.
- Strong delivery and solution architecture view, assessing business needs capacity management, and establishing the technical framework.
- Deep understanding of infrastructure components – Platform, Middleware, Storage & Backup for both On-prem and Cloud.
- Experience in monitoring and orchestration tools.
- Good working experience in infrastructure automation design and implementation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present findings and reports at the business management level.
