Role Description

As the Global Procurement Leader - Logistics, Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx), you will negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies. Achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction.

This position will be responsible for the coordination, management and support of Radiopharma suppliers within North America plus support other subcategories within the PDx Logistics category. The holder of the role will:

• Manage Request for Proposal (RFP) and Bid Defences
• Negotiate Contracts
• Lead Vendor Performance Metrics and Vendor Oversight/Governance
• Participate in Business Reviews
• Build category/sourcing strategies
• Conduct market/spend analytics and lead the execution thereof

As an integral member of the PDx Sourcing and Supply Chain team, the candidate will be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining a lean and strategic approach to vendor management for both manufacturing and sales organisations
• Ensuring compliance with Good Distribution Practice, Standard Operating Procedures, and Corporate Policies, Guidelines and Standards
• Maintaining internal collaboration between Logistics Leadership, Supply Chain & Site/Market teams, Quality and regulatory organisations within the PDx business
• Generating Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposals (RFP)
• Developing/contributing to the creation of Sourcing strategies
• Managing contracts and change orders, including active negotiation of scope of work, payment terms and budgets
• Working with Finance on budget/forecasting needs, cash flow, project budgets, VCP etc.
• Collaborating with the Legal team to ensure risk management through strong contracts
• Ensuring quality oversight of suppliers in partnership with Supplier Quality
• Developing and maintaining relationships with external partners
• Measuring supplier performance utilizing Scorecard/Metric activities
• Facilitating and executing supplier governance meetings and operating reviews
• Building effective partnerships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Leading and contributing to complex functional or company initiatives and special projects
• Assisting the senior sourcing team with analytics and business process optimisation
• Supporting business processes optimisations/execution for PDx Logistics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
• Logistics Knowledge
• Strong Interpersonal and leadership skills
• Strong business acumen and capacity to understand complex industry dynamics
• Excellent communication skills
• Project management skills
• Fast learner with the ability to interact with highly technical experts
• Inclusiveness and ability to influence a wide array of internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organisation
