Role Description

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for French voice professionals experienced in standard French voice recording, narration, dubbing, broadcast delivery, customer experience-style speech, text-to-speech recording, and expressive audio performance. This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on high-quality French voice recordings for speech model development, customer experience voice applications, pronunciation consistency, expressive delivery, and audio quality review. Selected professionals will record clear, natural, and consistent voice samples across varied scripts while following detailed recording, formatting, and delivery guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• French Voice Recording
  • Record high-quality French voice samples across conversational, narrative, instructional, and customer-support style scripts.
  • Deliver clear, natural, and expressive speech with strong control over tone, pacing, pronunciation, and emphasis.
  • Maintain consistency in voice, diction, accent, and delivery across multiple recording sessions.
  • Perform multiple takes with variation in emotion, emphasis, and style when required.
• TTS & Customer Experience Voice Delivery
  • Support voice recording work for text-to-speech and customer experience voice applications.
  • Follow scripts precisely while maintaining natural, human-sounding delivery.
  • Use a standard, neutral French delivery without strong regional accent or foreign-language influence.
  • Adapt vocal style for calm, professional, energetic, corporate, conversational, or instructional use cases depending on project needs.
  • Ensure recordings meet project expectations for clarity, consistency, pronunciation quality, and expressive range.
• Recording Setup & Audio Quality Control
  • Follow detailed recording guidelines related to environment, microphone setup, file formatting, and submission standards.
  • Record in a quiet environment using a professional or near-professional audio setup.
  • Review recordings for basic quality issues before submission, including background noise, inconsistent volume, unclear diction, or technical interruptions.
  • Complete independent remote project tasks in a flexible, deadline-aware environment.

Qualifications

• Native or native-level French fluency.
• Standard, neutral French delivery with no strong regional accent or foreign-language influence.
• Proven experience in voice acting, dubbing, narration, podcasting, broadcasting, IVR, audiobooks, or similar voice recording work.
• Access to a professional or near-professional recording setup, including a quality microphone, quiet environment, and reliable submission workflow.
• Strong command of intonation, diction, pacing, emotional range, and script interpretation.
• Ability to follow recording instructions precisely while maintaining natural delivery.
• Reliable availability for approximately 5–10 hours per week during the project period.
• Comfort with synthetic voice or voice cloning use for a defined customer experience AI voice application.

Educational Background

• No specific degree is required for this opportunity.
• Professional experience in voice acting, narration, broadcast, dubbing, audio production, communications, theatre, media, or related fields is highly relevant.
• Training in vocal performance, acting, pronunciation, audio production, media production, or speech delivery may be valuable.
• Experience working with scripts, recording tools, audio submissions, or performance direction may support project fit.

Nice to Have

• Experience recording for text-to-speech, AI voice datasets, audiobooks, IVR systems, customer support voice systems, or guided narration.
• Familiarity with audio editing tools such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, Reaper, or similar software.
• Ability to deliver multiple vocal styles, including conversational, corporate, energetic, calm, warm, or instructional delivery.
• Strong ability to maintain vocal consistency across repeated sessions and varied script types.
• Comfort recording clean, expressive audio independently in a remote production environment.

• Recordings may be used to support a specific customer experience AI voice application, including synthetic voice generation or voice cloning for that defined use case.
• Recordings are intended for the defined project use case and should not be sold, licensed, or reused for unrelated products, datasets, or purposes.
• Candidates should apply only if they are comfortable with the voice cloning and synthetic voice use described for this project.
• Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise.
• Projects may be extended, shortened, or adjusted depending on scope and performance.
