[Hiring] Freelance Senior Wind Engineer @3E

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Senior Wind Engineer with a proven track record in Technical Due Diligence services in CEE, the Middle East, the Caucasus and/or Central Asia.

You will conduct technical due diligence for wind installations in Benelux, Eastern Europe, the Middle-East and Asia. This can include but is not limited to:

• Technical review of main components of wind turbines;
• Review of contracts (TSA, O&M contract, Power Purchase Agreement, Grid connection, etc.);
• Review of land leases and building permits;
• Review of environmental impact studies;
• Review of long-term energy yield assessments;
• Delivering the technical due diligence studies following the planning, budget and the internal quality process of execution;
• Liaising with the project Lender and/or Sponsors and other project stakeholders;

Qualifications

• +5 years of experience in Technical Due Diligence services in the wind energy sector;
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written;
• Experience in working in cooperation with renewable energy developers and/or financiers;
• Experience writing bankable reports, punch lists, site visit reports;
• Required training certificates for site inspections (GWO working at heights);
• Strong practical, organizational skills;
