Role Description

This job advertisement is for an existing, immediate vacancy for the position of Event Programmer, Part Time.

Reporting to the Manager, Event Programming Operations, the Event Programmer role consists of a high level of interaction and communication with clients and internal teams involved in creating event listings. The incumbent is responsible for:

• Collecting, reviewing, and inputting accurate data into Ticketmaster’s proprietary Host programming system.
• Following procedural best practices and established standards.
• Verifying the output.

Kindly note this position does not involve event planning.

What You Will Be Doing

• Meet and exceed Event Management service level agreements.
• Accurately input event data into Ticketmaster Host system and identify and resolve event related errors.
• Work with clients, promoters, and internal departments such as marketing, accounting, customer service, event operations, and client support.
• Establish and develop relationships with assigned clients.
• Participate in on-call schedule rotation; after hour, weekend, and holiday client support responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Event Specialist, EM Manager, or Regional Director of Event Management.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience with the Ticketmaster systems (i.e., Host).
• Box Office experience.

Requirements

• Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule including some weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Computer literate with excellent data entry skills.
• Service oriented, with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Able to successfully handle multiple priorities.
• Creativity, latitude, and problem-solving skills required.
• Overall awareness of the entertainment business is important.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, good organizational skills, and attention to detail.
