Role Description

Prominence Advisors is looking for an experienced Epic Ambulatory Analyst to support a health system client. You'll step into an active portfolio right away, so we're looking for someone who can quickly pick up existing work, keep projects moving and support end users.

You'll work under the direction of an Application Manager. You'll troubleshoot, maintain and optimize existing applications, and design, build, test and support new functionality. You'll partner closely with business owners, vendors and IT colleagues to evaluate and recommend solutions to complex requests.

What You'll Work On

  • Support and optimize the EpicCare Ambulatory application, including the Kaleidoscope, Dermatology and Bones modules
  • Contribute to in-flight projects, including Security work, Outpatient Rehab and a clinic relocation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, and maintain existing build
  • Design, build and test new functionality within the assigned portfolio
  • Develop a strong understanding of clinical workflows and the policies and procedures behind them
  • Work with business owners, vendors and IT team members to recommend solutions to complex problems

Qualifications

  • EpicCare Ambulatory certification
  • Experience supporting Ambulatory build and workflows in a live environment
  • Ability to start quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical, operational, technical, and vendor teams
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Ability to translate complex clinical or operational requests into practical technical solutions

Requirements

  • Preferred Epic Security certification or experience
  • Preferred Epic Kaleidoscope certification or experience
  • Preferred Epic Outpatient Rehab, Dermatology and/or Bones Knowledge Tracks
