Role Description

This role involves developing and delivering messaging systems under the direction of the Enterprise Messaging Manager.

Design, maintain, and administer messaging related systems to ensure a secure, stable environment for the firm.
Key responsibilities include:

Designing, managing, and administering email security measures such as email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), spam, virus and content filtering, and URL rewriting and attachment scanning.
Designing, managing, and administering all email analysis utilities, tools, and processes.
Designing, managing, and administering all messaging systems (email, archival, spam, security, instant messaging).
Designing, managing, and administering Internet mail gateways.
Designing, managing, and administering remote mail access systems.
Creating implementation plans.
Troubleshooting system issues and performing problem analysis to resolution.
Documenting procedures and standards.
Administering and supporting Microsoft Active Directory as it pertains to Microsoft Exchange.
Developing and implementing access, monitoring, control, and documentation.
Participating in preparing and testing the disaster recovery plan.
Providing 24x7 response and assistance for all urgent and related responsibilities.
Providing subject matter expertise support to Helpdesk and end users.
Creating, testing, and managing scripts as needed for management and administration.
Supporting other messaging administrators and engineers and acting as a resource to other team members.
Participating in the on-call rotation process.
Comfortable interacting with Firm leaders through presentations or one-on-one contact.
Performing other duties as assigned/required.

Qualifications

Extensive knowledge of email security and authentication measures (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
Significant experience implementing email delivery and security platforms including message/spam filtering, transport threats and vulnerabilities, intrusion detection, antivirus, and antimalware.
Deep knowledge of Exchange 2016 management and troubleshooting.
Deep knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Online Protection and Exchange Online.
Demonstrated knowledge of Enterprise Vault email archiving management.
Demonstrated knowledge of Windows servers and desktop messaging software.
Excellent communication skills.
Commitment to standards and documentation.
The ability to handle multiple priorities successfully.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for working collaboratively.

Requirements

Technology

Proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook required.
Experience in Microsoft 365 with focus on Exchange Online experience, security, and migrations to include Purview, Azure AD, and Exchange Online Protection.
Experienced in systems currently used by the firm is preferred: Microsoft Server versions 2008 and higher, Veritas Enterprise Vault archiving and Discovery Accelerator, Microsoft Instant messaging and collaboration tools, MDM solutions, Load balancer technology.
