The Director of Payer Strategy will develop the strategy, planning, and execution of cutting-edge payer programs and services that position Longitude Rx member and affiliate Specialty Pharmacies as a market leader in the competitive specialty marketplace. This position will be responsible for developing innovative initiatives that enhance Longitude Rx’s value proposition, ensure payer access, and boost profitability. Additionally, provide consultative expertise to internal teams and Longitude Rx members and affiliates including PBM’s, payers (health plans), employers, and fostering collaboration and driving transformative solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree preferred.
• 5 – 7 years of progressive leadership experience in pharmacy PBM and/or payer contracting and negotiations.
• None.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to travel domestically approximately 30% of the time (estimate).
• Equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree or specific years of experience may be considered, provided the candidate can demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the role.
