Role Description

The Director of Enrollment provides proactive leadership in developing and executing comprehensive strategies to attract and enroll qualified students at Azusa Pacific University Global. This role demands strong strategic thinking, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a thorough understanding of the online asynchronous learning environment. The Director will inspire and motivate a high-performing team to achieve ambitious enrollment goals within a competitive landscape, all while upholding APU Global’s Christ-centered mission.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement innovative recruitment strategies.
• Leverage new technologies, optimize processes, and cultivate strategic partnerships.
• Attract prospective online students and successfully move them through the recruitment funnel towards enrollment.

Qualifications

• Vital Christian faith and lifestyle; supportive of the evangelical mission and purpose of APU Global.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Five years of experience in higher education enrollment management with multiple starts per academic year.
• Proven track record of achieving enrollment goals in a competitive market.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools.
• Experience managing remote teams.

Requirements

• Seven years of significant leadership experience in student enrollment/admissions or sales-driven call center.
• Experience in an online learning environment, online learning platforms, and technologies.
• Master’s degree in student affairs, higher education administration, marketing, organizational leadership, or related area of study is a plus.

Benefits

• Full-time, Exempt position at Grade 18.
• Starting salary range of $113,453 – $141,816.
• Remote work flexibility with minimal distractions.
• Travel may be required to meet business demands, university needs, or team meetings as necessary.

Essential Functions

• Develop and execute comprehensive enrollment strategies for eight start dates per academic year.
• Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Communications to support recruitment efforts.
• Optimize admissions processes and application management.
• Lead a team of enrollment managers and counselors to identify and recruit qualified students.
• Analyze enrollment data to identify trends and measure effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
• Develop and manage the enrollment department's financial budget.
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of enrollment professionals.
• Collaborate with other university departments to ensure a seamless student experience.
• Seek innovative ways to attract prospective students.
• Adhere to all relevant federal and state laws.
• Required to work a Saturday commencement event each calendar year.
• Carry out other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Vice President.

Technologies

• Google Suite: Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Meets.
• Microsoft Office Suite: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Communication and collaboration: Slack, Zoom (or similar virtual meeting platform).
• CRM platforms (Salesforce strongly preferred).
