[Hiring] Director, Network Partnerships & Contracting @Gravie

Role Description

We’re looking for an experienced network contracting leader to shape and execute the network strategy for Gravie’s health plan. This is a senior, strategic role focused on building the network partnerships that fuel Gravie’s growth:

• Assess and prioritize new markets.
• Evaluate network economics and partnership opportunities.
• Negotiate complex network and value-based agreements.
• Build relationships that move opportunities from strategy through implementation.
• Accountable owner for standing up new provider networks as Gravie expands.
• Ensure networks launch on time, meet access and regulatory requirements, and deliver competitive economics.
• Work closely with Network leadership, Finance, Actuarial, Compliance, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Engineering.
• Turn market insights and network strategy into scalable network products that differentiate Gravie in the market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in provider contracting, network management, healthcare reimbursement, or network strategy.
• Deep fluency in provider payment methodologies, including DRGs and case rates, per diems, percent-of-charges, and fee schedules.
• 5+ years of experience in contracting or network roles supporting the commercial group market and employer-sponsored health plans.
• 5+ years of experience independently drafting and negotiating complex healthcare agreements.
• 4+ years of experience ensuring healthcare contracts and networks meet applicable federal and state regulatory requirements.
• 3+ years of experience developing and negotiating value-based care arrangements.
• 2+ years of experience partnering cross-functionally to bring network products to market.

Requirements

• Independently develop and own new network partnerships and launches.
• Ensure contracts and network operations meet access and network adequacy expectations.
• Scope and assess new regional leased network opportunities and innovative partnerships.
• Negotiate network agreements through to signature.
• Assess national network solutions and leased-network competitiveness.
• Negotiate high-dollar provider recoupments.
• Own contract lifecycle management.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for provider and vendor contract disputes.
• Track industry trends and competitor positioning.
• Partner with executive leadership on network strategy, budgeting, and cost-containment initiatives.
