Create and manage multiple projects within and across teams. Utilize advanced knowledge of end user technologies to identify and solve problems using technology and automation. Drive positive impacts to enhance customer experience through the reduction of toil and automation of workstation management and usage. Find creative ways to automate OS deployment and management with MS Intune/Jamf/3rd party MDM solutions. Strong understanding of Modern Desktop, DaaS, SaaS, Jamf and M365 cloud management is required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: · Support projects, planning, maintenance, and operations. Consults and advises leadership, project teams, application support teams and end users to optimize desktop and mobile systems. · Work closely with leadership and the team to develop future improvement plans, resource requirements, migrations strategies, and project schedules to improve service delivery and efficiency. · Understand other technologies and their impact to the delivery of desktop and mobile services. · Serve as a senior resource and mentor in assigned daily support and deployments to operations and ensure solutions meet business requirements and established metrics (SLAs). · Responsible for operating and maintaining complex solutions at the component level, including hands-on configuration, and advanced troubleshooting efforts. · Maintain technical knowledge and business acumen within our own discipline or function. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: · Position has expertise in Microsoft and Apple technologies and the integration of these services in a highly regulated enterprise environment. · Position has senior level expertise and hands-on competency in Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android device management. · Ability to effectively document architecture and process documentation along with training other IT professionals on complex technical topics. · Collaborates with business partners to ensure technical service delivery aligns to strategy. · Mentors team members, along with first line support and provides continual feedback. · Experience leading medium to large size projects. · Possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others to calmly handle critical situations with confidence and minimal direction. · Manages well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities and assignments. · Excellent verbal and written communication with a professional demeanor. · Expert customer service skills, including the ability to listen, interpret and explain computer related concepts in non-technical terms. · Expert troubleshooting skills in an enterprise environment and the ability to multi-task. · Ability to work independently and to prioritize and research problem solutions thoroughly using advanced methods and varied resources. · Assist in researching, creating and implementing IT strategies as it pertains to End User Services. · Ability to look ahead to the next project and understand future directions needs of a company in a high-growth environment. · Ability to be detail oriented, yet still see the big picture. · Expert knowledge of current operating systems and software products. · Experience with preparing software for centralized distribution. · Experience remotely configuring and reporting on Windows OS and macOS computers. · Experience with VM workstations. · Competency in integrating peripherals with desktop software. · Ability to work in at least two common scripting languages such as: PowerShell, Bash, VBscript, AppleScript. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: · Experience or desire to learn DaaS and linux administration. · Vendor relationship management. · Architecture design workflows.
