Responsibilities

• Analyze and enhance revenue cycle processes to improve financial performance and reduce revenue leakage for hospitals and health systems.
• Develop and implement industry best practices for revenue cycle management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and improving overall efficiency.
• Independently lead and direct teams in the delivery of complex performance improvement engagements.
• Manage engagement-wide economics, such as budgets, invoicing, and billing.
• Utilize analytical and critical thinking skills to quantify financial and operational benefits for performance improvement initiatives.
• Exceptional verbal communication and listening skills to understand client challenges and create customized solutions.
• Build strong relationships while leading a multi-faceted change process.
• Demonstrated change management expertise and experience positively influencing change in complex environments.
• Team leadership experience including role definition, team building, coaching/mentoring, and performance management.
• Build and maintain a professional network and identify business development opportunities.
• Complete all assigned instructed courses and compliance trainings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of healthcare consulting experience related to revenue cycle.
• Ability to travel based on client, enterprise, or project needs.
• Relevant hospital revenue cycle experience directing a department and/or team-based projects.
• Project leadership and workplan management experience within a consulting firm setting.
• Strong leadership and management skills aligning to Huron’s core values and competencies.
• Excellent communication skills – oral and written.
• Ability to train and participate in the professional development of Huron staff.
• Ability to contribute on multiple projects of differing scale and duration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Direct supervisory experience of both individuals and teams.
• Preferred experience in a matrixed organization.
• US Work Authorization required.

Requirements

• The estimated base salary for this job is $185,000 - $225,000.
• Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $240,500 - $292,500.
• This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental, and vision coverage and other wellness programs.
